About Our Farm
We are a family farm managed by fourth generation custodians within the remarkable Stonehenge World Heritage site. Our home is a landscape steeped in history, surrounded by tumuli, barrows and ditches carved by our ancestors millennia ago. This ancient chalk downland is not just where we work – it is a profound heritage we are privileged to protect and nurture.
We believe in farming in harmony with this special environment. Our herds of heritage and rare breed pigs, cattle and Wiltshire Horn sheep live outside all year round, grazing the diverse ancient grasslands and sheltering in mature beechwoods. This is a low input, unhurried way of life. Our animals mature slowly on pastures that have not seen artificial fertilisers or sprays for over two decades. We use no routine antibiotics or other medication.

Highly recommend. Have had minced beef, stewing beef and steaks ( ribeye and rump) All were absolutely superb. Wouldn’t buy from anywhere else now. So good to see farmer’s cutting out the middle man/supermarkets and selling direct to the public. Hope it encourages more to do the same.
110% recommend!!! Bought a large beef box from Springbottom Farm last week & the pieces we’ve tried so far (sirloin steaks & topside) have been exceptional! I was interested to try an ‘old fashioned ‘ breed like their Sussex, & it certainly didn’t disappoint! SO tasty & tender!!
All the meat looks absolutely top quality & is professionally packaged & labelled, ready to use or pop in the freezer. We really appreciate their ethos behind the management of their stock & working with the land, & how this transfers through to their meat. Will definitely be going back for more!
