We grow and supply proper potatoes – heritage, colourful, and full of flavour. We are proud to keep these heritage potatoes alive for you.

We’re based north of Dundee, perfect potato country. We grow spuds for planting and for eating, in every shade and shape worth tasting and have one of the largest ranges available in the UK.

We also have mainstream varieties for you to grow and eat.

Potato House grew out of a need to service smaller orders for gardeners, allotment growers, market gardeners and independent gardening and hardware stores. We supply potatoes for “potato days” from Mull to Cornwall. Our baby spuds are grown in gardens and allotments from Shetland to Wales.

Our original company, Skea Organics, supplies seed potatoes to mid-sized farmers across the UK.

We also supply eating potatoes to shops, box schemes, restaurants as well as to the general public.

The Potato House website is dedicated to gardeners and small, passionate growers looking for high-quality seed potatoes with unique taste and specific characteristics. This now extends to chefs who want to experiment with heritage and coloured potatoes in the kitchen.

PLEASE NOTE – NOT ALL VARIETIES ARE ORGANIC: Around a third of our varieties are organic, although by volume, our organic range is about 80% of our harvest. Our website clearly shows what is organic and what is not, as does our labelling and invoices. You can filter for organic varieties.

Our prices include UK delivery (with the exception of Northern Ireland due to Brexit, this is out of our control – please contact your MP if this affects you). For seed potatoes – we will deliver on a WEEK that suits you in the spring. Potatoes to eat are dispatched the day after order.
