About Our Farm
We invite you to visit our farm shop, nestled in our courtyard, right in the heart of our working family farm
We offer produce grown, raised, or created right here. You’ll find fresh, wholesome produce and artisanal goods made with love and the highest quality ingredients.
From our pasture-fed beef and lamb to locally sourced honey, apple juice and homemade jams, every product reflects the authentic taste of farm life.
Whether you’re picking up a few essentials or enjoying a special treat, our farm shop is a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and passion that goes into everything we, and other small businesses do.
We are also working on, and very close to completing, the registration and set up of a Community Interest Project, which will provide free or subsidised access and education to all things food and farming.

As soon as you walk in to Homegrown and Handmade you are greeted with such a friendly atmosphere and Karen is always happy to help and very knowledgeable about the produce she produces and sells.
The beef is the nicest beef I’ve bought, always so tasty and tender. The pies and ready meals are delicious and you know exactly what you’re eating. The cakes are always a winner.
Not only is the produce from the farm amazing but other local produce is great too.
I would definitely recommend.

We found this beautiful little Farm and their produce in November. Homegrown & Handmade we wouldn’t buy beef from anywhere else now!! A gem of a place. Karen is so very welcoming.
We also bought our Turkey for Christmas which was superb! And a 15 minute drive from home.
Farm to fork, now that’s what we should all be eating! Proper natural meat’s with no additives!
The beef skirt we bought from Homegrown and Handmade was delicious. I cooked it for hours in the slow cooker and it was worth the wait. So soft and full of flavour. I would highly recommend.
Last night I had one of the homemade steak and potato pie which was perfect . Plenty of meat and potato filling and tonight myself and the kids enjoyed some delicious rump and sirloin steaks. Top quality beef from a top quality local family farm .
We love a trip out to Homegrown and Handmade. It’s clear how much care and pride goes into everything they sell. The meat is beautifully fresh and full of flavour, the vegetables are seasonal and taste like they’ve just come out of the field, and the eggs are as good as it gets.
The homemade cakes and pies are an absolute highlight — generous portions, perfectly baked, and just like something from a traditional farmhouse kitchen. You can really taste the difference when everything is made and grown with such attention and passion.
It’s a real gem of a place, and puts ‘store bought’ produce to shame. Highly recommended for anyone who values fresh, local, and genuinely home-produced food.
All I need to say is, you will not be disappointed.
I’ve bought beef, lamb, cakes, honey and pies from Homegrown and Handmade regularly for many months now and every cut of meat has been tender and full of flavour. The cakes are delicious and my partner won’t have pies from anywhere else. It’s a gem of a find, run by a friendly and knowledgeable family, who truly put everything into the produce they serve.
Popped in for steak and eggs, walked out with the the most beautiful, thick and nicest ribeye steaks I’ve ever tasted and some amazing eggs with beautiful golden yolk. As a point of note, the ribeyes were cheaper than they were in a butcher’s shop I recently visited (not a local one), which was a pleasant surprise. 100% recommend, and I’ll be back again.
This family run farm shop is exactly what you hope for when buying local. The meat is homegrown and you can tell it’s been raised properly — it cooks beautifully and tastes incredible. The produce is fresh, seasonal, and miles better than anything you’ll find in a supermarket.
What really stands out is the pride and care the family puts into their work. You’re not just buying food — you’re supporting a hardworking local business that values quality over shortcuts.
If you care about knowing where your food comes from, this is the place to go.
Thank you Karen & Gareth we can’t wait to return and we will trying your yummy Scotch Eggs aka Breakfast Balls next ☺️🙌🏼
