We are Michael and Lisa and our small family farm is located in Bleasdale, in the Forest of Bowland between Lancaster and Preston.
We run a small cow with calf dairy where our herd of Jersey cows naturally rear their own calves. The calves stay with their mothers until they are old enough to be weaned, usually between 5 and 6 months. Our cows are milked once a day which leaves plenty of milk for the calves. Our cows only ever eat a natural diet of pasture and forage for their entire lives. We do not feed them any grain.
We have a small farm shop at the farm where we sell our raw milk, gelato, pasture fed beef, pork and eggs.
